Obtain a GED

Groton participates in a Regional Education Partnership with New London Adult and Continuing Education to provide GED services to Groton residents.  Students participating in the GED program receive a Connecticut high school diploma upon successfully passing the state exam.

The program operates on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 8:30 at the Adult Education site (West Side Middle School).  There are also day and evening classes available at the New London location. Basic skill classes are also offered (ABE) as part of the GED preparation process.

Students interested in registering for the GED/ABE program should contact the Adult Education program at (860) 441-2152.
