GPS Welcomes Volunteers
GPS welcomes volunteers while implementing our Board of Education policies to ensure student safety.
Volunteers need to complete an online application and submit two forms: the Department of Children and Families background check form and a fingerprint card. These forms are available at the central office but will soon be available in the schools. The forms should be submitted to our central office at 1300 Flanders Road in Mystic. Volunteers may begin working in the schools once their forms are submitted.
Please bear with us while we streamline the procedures for volunteering. In the meantime, the guidelines below will help you through the online application. The volunteer application process should take no more than 10 minutes.
